Our preferred vendor for our folding cartons (farm boxes); they are able to source FSC-certified paperboard, and they are local to us (which means lower freight charges), and are super easy to work with. Everything is manufactured in Massachusetts. Their minimums are 16,000 for custom art (which can be 8 differents skus @ 2000 qty each). We highly recommend them if you are ready to print a bunch of boxes.
Producers of many different types of folding cartons, we've worked with them on some of gift boxes (particularly those with foil stamp). Located in upstate New York, this company is easy to work with, crafts all their cartons with 100% wind energy (and provides logos for your boxes), and can source FSC paperboard. Check with them directly about pricing and minimums.
This is a dynamic packaging company that can provide comprehensive design on a whole product, for instance our chocolate box, which includes rigid kraft base, bioplastic lid, paper (printed with custom art) sleeve, etc. They both manufacture and partner with other companies to source eco-friendly packaging options. Minimums depend on product design. Easy to work with. I do think a lot of the production happens overseas; so timeline and shipping costs can present challenges.

Based in Connnecticut, Rice is another popular choice for producers. We don't work with them directly, but we know many other companies who do and who love them. They can also source FSC and recycled paperboard.
