cheese paper & packaging

Formaticum

Compostable and biodegradable, Formaticum's "Zero" paper fully breaks down in less than 100 days. This plastic-free material is available in the classic green themed design and a clean white option with minimal printing on the trim. Made with paper sourced from sustainable sources, it's greaseproof and porous to oxygen making it an ideal packaging solution for aged cheese and charcuterie. Easy to set up a wholesale account for wholesale pricing and custom printing.

Amcor

Amcor is a larger global company that has developed more environmentally friendly, mostly recycle-ready plastic formats, which don't sacrifice any cheese-aging/breathing performance. Not totally sure how/if they cater to small cheese producers, but certainly a company that other larger cheese makers in Vermont are working with.

TC Transcontinental

TC Transcontinental is a leader in flexible packaging in the United States, Canada and Latin America. It is also Canada’s largest printer. They now offer more sustainable packaging options, including PCR, 100% recyclable, and compostable packaging solutions. Their MOQs are pretty large for our purposes, but many other larger cheese makers in Vermont count them as a dependable partner/vendor.
