SHELF LIFE: Our caramel is exquisite for the first month and a half, and still very good for the next month. This gives you a total of approximatley 10 weeks of goodness at room temperature (please avoid placing product in direct sunlight and/or storing them in spaces whose temperature and/or humidity fluctuate greatly over the course of a day or week!). Fresher caramel (1-8 weeks) is better, and if stored properly will not granularize. We go out of our way to offer low shipping costs so as to encourage customers to place smaller, more frequent orders to ensure that all customers are tasting the very best Big Picture Farm has to offer. We believe that a high-quality tasting experience will create more repeat customers and increase long-term repeat sales, for both Big Picture Farm and our retailers. Therefore we insist that customers place orders in the amount they believe they can sell in 4-6 weeks. Moreover, we agree to provide customers with "best by" stickers of at least 8-10 weeks from the date of receipt. Big Picture Farm will not replace or credit customers for product that has expired on the shelf.
TAXES: You are responsible for the payment of applicable federal, state, and local taxes unless an appropriate government tax exemption form is provided to Big Picture Farm in advance.
PAYMENT: Payment is due at the time of sale for all products, shipping and handling and applicable taxes, unless approved for Credit Terms. For customers on credit terms, all invoices are due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date unless otherwise stated. A service charge of one and one half percent (1.5% per month) may be assessed on delinquent invoices.
PRICE CHANGES: Big Picture Farm reserves the right to change its prices and charges for its products and services at its discretion.
CANCELLATION AND RETURN OF PRODUCT: Once an order has been placed and processed, it may only be cancelled with the consent of Big Picture Farm. Items may be added to processed orders, but additional product and shipping charges will apply. If items are cancelled from a processed order, a 20% restocking fee may apply. Because our product is perishable as stated above, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. If a product is ordered by mistake, or if the product expires on the shelf, Big Picture Farm cannot give credit or replace expired product. We can and will replace any products that arrives damaged so long as we are notified immediately. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, customers acknowledge that they have read and understood product shelf-life and no-return policy.
SALE OF PRODUCT ONLINE: Big Picture Farm permits the sale of its products online, only if the MRP (stated in the wholesale brochure) is met.
VENDOR SALES: You agree that you will only sell Big Picture Farm products to end users and that you are not authorized to sell Big Picture Farm products to other resellers. In addition, you agree that you will only purchase Big Picture Farm products from Big Picture Farm domestically or approved distributors internationally.
CONTROVERSIES: All questions or controversies arising out of, or in any way relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of Vermont, Windham County, Circuit Court and the parties stipulate to the personal jurisdiction of such Vermont State Court.
*NOTICE: We package our products with sustainability and quality assurance in mind, but we can't always guarantee that some product will not be damaged in transit. Please contact us if there has been damage to the box and we will file a claim with FedEx and/or replace damaged product as soon as we are able.
